What is botulinum toxin?Botulinum toxin is a purified bacterial substance that blocks muscle nerve signals. The dentist can safely inject botulinum toxin to weaken facial muscle and diminish unwanted wrinkles and frown lines that appear across the forehead and at the corners of the eyes (crow's feet).
Besides treating the upper region (forehead and corners of the eyes), we are also able to offer more advanced techniques to allow the removal of lines in mid and lower regions of the face.
Treating the mid region of the face with botulinum removes smoker's lines and bunny lines of the nose.
Treating the lower region of the face with botulinum can help increase the smile by targeting the turns at the end of the smile (mouth droop) as well as remove tensions in the chin (witch's chin).
