Which chemical peels is suitable for me?
Our highly experienced team will advise on which peel you require, depending on the condition you are being treated for. There are different types of peels, differing in their intensities:
Glycolic acid peels
Alphahydroxy acids (AHA) are the lightest, mildest peels.
These are superficial peels - They are most commonly used, they remove the outer layer of cells, lightly exfoliating the skin to give a healthy glow. AHA peels may be used to treat fine wrinkling, sun damage and areas of dryness, uneven pigmentation and acne.
Trichlorotic acid peels (TCA)
Trichlorotic acid - medium depth peel, targerting surface wrinkles and blemishes.
This penetrates further into the skin to reduce small wrinkles and acne scars, and to even out skin colour and tone.
