What are chemical peels?

The chemical agent is applied to your skin where you may feel a warm and stinging sensation, which could last about five to ten minutes. After a period of time the substance will be removed and your skin may be slightly pink to red depending on the peel which has been used. The new regenerated skin is more uniform in colour, smoother and less wrinkled giving a more youthful look overall, with a reduction in the appearance of pitted scars.
